Source Code - Horizons of Imagination.

Takes us to the horizons of what a human brain can imagine and tries to apply logic to that!

In  every suspense/thriller movie we watch,we will have a guess about the plot but in this movie I had no clue whatsoever even till the end.

At first I thought it would be in the lines of the Matrix, then I thought he will go back and forth to the '8 minutes' to see who planted the bomb and that's the end of the mission but finally the director proved every one wrong and has done a very good job in keeping us guessing till the end.

From the acclaimed director of Moon - Duncan Jones, comes this Sci-fi thriller. He has tried his level best to avoid the technical details or our logical reasoning which has done more good to the movie than harming it. Otherwise we would have been pointing out the logical mistakes as we did in movies like Inception. This movie is all about the feel and situation.

The sentiments like the father-son relationship, Michelle Monaghan's part did not quite work out as the director would have expected.
On the technical side, the cinematography is awesome, especially the opening shots and the scene when Jake jumps off the moving train worth a mention. Otherwise the graphics were pretty normal, in fact very low to the Hollywood standards.
The Main character Colter Stevens is played by the charming Jake Gyllenhal. He has clearly moved on from his charming and graceful image back from the Brokeback Mountain days.
Though he has sported a rugged look still he is handsome and charming. He has done a really good job as the confused army man who saves the day.
Michelle Monaghan plays the female lead and is beautiful as usual. Nothing much to perform but did very well with what she was given.
Russel Peters has no big role in the movie. He like every one else in the train does the same thing again and again for the one hours and thirty minutes of the movie.
Music .. Hm mm I don't remember a thing about the music/back ground score of the movie. Actually the scope for music in this movie is very little. So it went un-noticed.
May be I was too engrossed in finding the plot or the music actually did not stand out any where.

Overall the movie is short, crisp and good. When I came out of the theater I was just awe-struck looking at the extents to which the imaginations of the human brain can go. This looks kinda too-much credit to the movie but still it was to some extent very impressive in its creativity and imagination.

The bottom line is that this is a very creative entertainer, enjoyed to the fullest if physics is ignored.!!!!!
